by offering hands-on training designed to build confidence and
bridge the gap between theory and application.

With NextStep Basic, you will get the chance to:

• Participate in sales calls with real clients to understand how the client and job assessment are inter-connected and how to select among alternative estimating options. You’ll learn how to tailor service offerings and descriptions to the needs of the individual client, how to predict which clients may be difficult down the road and what you can do up front to forestall any problems. You’ll receive estimating templates to guide you in your own business and knowledge of how to apply and refine them. You'll understand how to explain estimates to clients so as to minimize your risk.
• Go on actual jobs to learn how Move Managers simultaneously manage all the players in real-life situations: staff, movers, clients, community personnel, and other resources. Depending on your needs, you’ll assist in floor planning or sorting sessions, and see how they can be used to cement relationships and ensure job success.
• Learn proven marketing techniques and assess which ones would be successful for you and your geographic area. If scheduling permits, you may be able to observe an actual marketing presentation.
• Learn the back-office systems and operations that enable real businesses to operate.
• Build confidence. Most of all, you will leave with increased confidence and knowledge that will translate into revenue-producing jobs.
